Temporary Traffic Management Basic Course
NHSS12 TTMBC introduces learners to temporary traffic management and allows trainees to work on the highway network under a qualified operative or supervisor.

Who should attend?
For people starting work for the first time in temporary traffic management, learners without current NHSS 12ABCD certificates or cards, and learners whose previous NHSS 12ABCD skills expired more than two years ago.
What will be covered?
- Quality Assurance and NHSS 12
- Health, safety and environmental procedures
- Risk assessments, PPE and highway environment awareness
- Types of road, terminology and temporary traffic management equipment
- Basic principles, site practices, maintenance and safety zones
- Vehicular access and egress of road work sites
